House Bill 29: License Reinstatement Relief

House Bill 29, which takes effect on April 10, 2025, provides relief for certain suspended drivers in Ohio by removing or modifying some suspension requirements. Key provisions include:

Eliminates license suspensions for failure to pay court fines or fees.

Automatically reinstates qualifying suspended licenses with no fee.

Removes suspensions for certain drug offenses (excluding OVI) unless a vehicle was involved in the crime.
